So I worked saturday, finished at 6:30pm but of course with the lovely buses that I take I would have got home at about 8pm. SO, I stopped to grab groceries at the store in town and had the hubby pick me up. The lunatics had decided to wait for me to get home before they had dinner (way to late to be eating dinner!), so we were to go and pick up McDonalds for everyone. Well, I haven't had McNastys in so long so I figured i would have some. Boy, I remember why it had been so long since I have had it, it sits like a lead weight!! Well, it seems to bring the "CRAZY" out in my 7yr old even more than usual...and sadly, it was Joey who fell victim to her abuse!! The best thing about boxers, they are loyal, lovable and thank god, easy going!!! Needless to say, even HE wasn't impressed with this stunt...

Trying a new thing
So, everyone talks about blogging, whether it be there own, or someone else's blog. I started reading a friends blog and got a kick out of it. It is nice to get a little insight into the lives of others, to know that the insanity that occurs in my house happens in the homes of others as well!!! I decided to create my own blog, not knowing really if anyone cares to read about what happens in my home or with my crazy family but I'm doing it anyways.
So, to get started, my kids have started their new school year at new schools, in a new province, having to make new friends and are not doing to badly. Riley (13yr old) has gone from hating his new school (1st day) to having a girlfriend after 9 days, to having broke up with her after another week. Aren't we glad that we aren't 13 anymore?? Cadence (7yr old) starting making friends before school at her daycare so she had a few starting the school year. That said, first week was rough for her, quite a bit of drama but things SEEM to have settled down a bit now. She has joined the cross-country team and has her first meet next wednesday and if you ask her, she IS the fastest and she will win. Unfortunately I work so I will not be able to make it but Brian will and I will go to the second one the following week.
As for myself, just plugging away at work, still not quite feeling settled into the new home but I will get there...gotta finish a few things to make it a little more "Us", that may help!
